Q: What is HealthCARE Express?
A: Started in 2006, we are physician owned and locally run. This mean we operate like a hometown family doctor, even though we have locations in multiple states. As leaders of medical care, we offer a modern, customer-oriented version of healthcare. We have an onsite lab and X-ray at all locations. Along with urgent care, we offer occupational medicine, and other services, depending on location. HealthCARE Express is the home of the WOWZA customer service experience! Our entire goal, from the time you get out of your car until you get back in, is for you to say “WOWZA, I’d be crazy to go anywhere else for my medical care.” All of our clinics are open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (with the exception of our Richmond Rd. Clinic in Texarkana, TX, which is open 24/7).
Q: How is HealthCARE Express different from an emergency room?
A: Many people go to the ER for non-emergency ailments, such as an upset stomach or broken bone (as long as it is a closed fracture). We can easily treat these conditions with a much shorter wait time, and a fraction of the cost of a visit to the ER.
Q: What does HealthCARE Express treat?
A: If it’s a non-life threatening condition, we treat it. We treat broken bones (closed fractures), sprains, work injuries, earaches, cold and flu, abdominal pain, nausea, headaches and migraines, allergies, burns, minor cuts, and much more.
Q: Are the medical staff here qualified to treat me and my family?
A: You are in the best of hands when you come visit us at HealthCARE Express. Our providers are registered doctors, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, so you are in qualified hands when you come to our clinics.
Q: When do I pay for treatment?
A: HealthCARE Express accepts cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. Payment is due at the time of service.
Q: How much do I have to pay for my visit?
A: This really depends on the insurance that you have. Your co-pay for visiting HealthCARE Express will fall under visiting an urgent care facility, so it should be less than it would be if you visited an ER, but slightly more than a primary care physician. This does not include any extra expenses that you may have, such as lab tests or vaccines. If you do not have insurance, we do have discounts for cash pay at time of service.
Q: What insurance do you accept?
A: HealthCARE Express is contracted with most insurances. Want to know if we accept your insurance? Check HERE.
Q: What are your policies on Medicaid, Medicare, and SoonerCare?
A: We do not accept Medicaid, but we do accept Medicare and SoonerCare.
Q: Do I have to have insurance to be treated at HealthCARE Express?
A: HealthCARE Express gladly accepts patients without insurance. Our cash pay prices start at $100 for office visits. Additional charges will be applied for lab tests, vaccines, medications, supplies, complex procedures, tests, prescriptions, and x-ray services as deemed necessary by the medical provider. Posted prices include discounts for cash or credit card payments at time of service. Patient should report discount on any claim to a third-party payer.
Q: Do I have to make an appointment?
A: Nope. Walk-ins are more than welcome at all of our HealthCARE Express clinics.
Q: How long is the wait to see a provider?
A: We pride ourselves on short wait times. To avoid the wait, though, you can pre-register for an appointment here:
Wake Village, TX
Midwest City, OK
