HealthCARE Express Is Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders at Klondike Leadership Academy

In a world full of followers, we need leaders who can step up and help others shine. Like most things, it’s best to teach leadership skills to children while they’re still young. HealthCARE Express’s Klondike Leadership Academy (KLA) focuses on doing just that.

Do you want your child to learn the skills necessary to become one of the great leaders of tomorrow? It’s not too late to sign up your child for this outstanding program. The KLA year kicks off on September 7, 2017, and will run through April 30, 2018. This program is designed to challenge and enlighten children on owning their responsibilities. We want to help teach children how to be responsible, and how to be a good influence to others around them.

The program has seven core values, called “Leadership Skills,” that we teach the children attending:

The Seven Leadership Skills

  1. Yes, I Can!
  2. Work Comes Before Play
  3. Listen Before You Speak
  4. Together Is Better
  5. Help to Inspire Others
  6. Commitment
  7. Leaders Are Readers

Children can work at a pace they’re comfortable with, so they don’t have to worry about trying to keep up with each other. Best of all, the program is free! KLA likes to reward the students attending our academy. We host an awards ceremony at the end of the KLA year and give awards to our outstanding participants. Last year, we awarded two hard working kids, Reagan and Jayden, with trips on a Disney Cruise, and we will be doing the same this year.
