Fun Family Haunts this Fall - Marshall, TX

Hey moms and dads! Want something fun and safe to do with your kids this fall? Try out these fun community events going on!  

October 17

Bring the family to Bear Creek Smokehouse at 10857 State Highway 154, Marshall, TX for a fun-filled Business After Hours event from 4:30-7:30 p.m.! Watch the pumpkin carving contest and try some of Bear Creek Smokehouse’s samples. 

October 19

The Jefferson Carnegie Library on 301 W. Lafayette St., Jefferson, TX will be holding a Bingo fundraiser from 7 to 10 p.m.

October 25

Pay a visit to the Marshall Manor Nursing Home at 1007 S. Washington Ave. for their Fall Fest at 5 p.m.! There will be a free trunk-or-treat, tons of games for the family, a bounce house, food and drinks, and so much more! There will also be a costume contest with a cash prize. 

October 26

Junkin’ Across Texas presents “It’s Fall Y’all!” on October 26 at the Marshall Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.! Grab a friend and come shop around.

Come and enjoy the fun at the Waskom ISD elementary campus from 3-5 p.m. for their Fiesta at the Fields!

Or, you can go to the Woodlawn Volunteer Fire Department’s 3rd Annual Fall Extravaganza at 487 Pine Tree Terrace in Woodlawn, TX starting at 5:30 p.m.! Hamburgers and hotdogs will be available for purchase! There will also be door prizes and a spooky haunted house!

October 27

Drop by the Tatum High School Baseball Field on Sunday, October 27 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for Halloween on the Hill! There will be carnival games, bounce houses, a bake sale, a costume contest, hitting and throwing games, a spooky dugout, and so much more! Proceeds from this event will benefit the Tatum High School Baseball team!

October 28

Have any tweens or teens that love science? Bring them by the Marshall Public Library from 5-7 p.m. for some spooky STEM crafts and tasty snacks! All materials will be provided, so just bring your imagination!  

October 29

Come learn about Mexico’s Dia de Los Muertos remembrance holiday at the Day of the Dead Celebration hosted at the Michelson Museum of Art at 216 N. Bolivar St., Marsahll, TX from 5-7 p.m.!

Alternately, you can swing by Marshall’s Main Street from 5-7 p.m. for the Harvest Festival! There will be hayrides, live music, bounce houses, a petting zoo, and so much more! 

November 2

There will be a super fun festival at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church on November 2 from 4 to 6 p.m.!
